Hi everyone. I am a current high school senior from the Pittsburgh, PA, area, and am the only student applying to Berkeley from my school. My stats aren’t necessarily stellar (1250 SAT, 3.9 UW GPA) but I have a large amount of ECs and leadership, including being the State President of the state’s student council association and being the chairperson for the largest student leadership conference in Pennsylvania. My hooks include being biracial and a first generation college student.
My point is, though my numbers are low, being that my region is not particularly heavy in the applicant pool, does that affect my chances at all, whether it help or hurt?
