D19 did not except for driving, 11 pm curfew. More important rule is that I’ve always known when she would be coming home. If plans changed I would know a few hours before. But generally if after midnight the kids will sleep over at the house who hosts the party. Thankfully most of the time the get togethers happened at our house, I feel a lot better this way. I always make pancakes, waffles, bacons, and eggs in the morning for them (think 2 dozen eggs and 3 lbs of bacon). This was how I stayed in the know for most of the gossips lol. Plus I like to feed people.
Neither of my kids have ever had a set curfew. But they’re not out a lot in the evening. D always texts me when she’s heading home, so I have an idea of her eta. S more often than not stays at a friend’s house if he’s out late.
My kids have never really had a curfew, nor have I nor H. I don’t sleep as well until I know both kids are home, and they know that. They tend to come in at reasonable times nearly always and hang out with folks that are also very responsible.
