Dog friendly bed breakfast, farm, motel in ny, nj, pa

While I think La Quinta is a western chain, they are absolutely dog friendly.

I routinely travel with my two poodles and have found that MOST hotels (not just a few) will allow pets, sometimes free and sometimes for a small fee. If you have a non-shedding breed, point that out when you reserve, as I have found that can get the fee waived.

When I travel with my dogs, I do make a point of tipping the housecleaning staff a little extra, because dogs do make for extra work and I don’t want the staff to complain.

Several of the hotel chains give a discount to AKC members. An AKC member is anyone who has paid the dog registration fee… Try using the discount code “AKC” when you register; I’ve been pleasantly surprised how often it works.
