Doing A Lot Senior Year= Lost Cause?

AP Stats
AP Macro Economics
AP Lit
AP Gov
College Accounting (Through Local Community College)
Spanish 4
More than likely I will also be doing an internship at a local marketing firm

College Aspirations: 1.NYU 2.Northeastern 3.OSU 4.Pitt 5.Bentley
Am I just kidding myself by taking all of these thinking that they will matter? I have a 3.7 GPA this year(Junior) 2 APs, a couple classes that relate to my intend major(International Bussines/Marketing) and I intend on keeping this trend static. Also my SAT’s will probably be in the 1800-2100s, a lot of extra credit leadership roles, I’ve founded a couple original clubs/programs at my school.
All opinions welcome!
Thank You VERY Much In Advance!

those are all easy AP’s, you should be fine. I dont know about AP lit because I hate english but macro and gov are jokes

Can your family afford 60k/year for NYU? They don’t meet need.

also 1800-2100 is a huge range… if you want to get into NYU Stern it better be at least 2000+.

if you consider learning a lost cause, then yes

I don’t think so. Colleges definitely take a good look at your senior year course load-- plus the fact, your first semester transcript will likely be used in the decision process unless you apply early. So I wouldn’t call it a lost call at all, though junior year really is a crucial one in terms of performance.
