Doing bad in regents?

i’m from ny and if i do kinda bad on a math regents (B) do i still have chances to get into stern with a good gpa so far?

I think if you take a math SAT II and do well on that (think 750+ in your case), then this will probably outweigh your bad grade on the regents. I don’t think regents matter that much (if at all), but there are harder standardized math tests out there and if you truly can’t master the material on the regents, you’ll have a hard time doing well on APs and SAT IIs. If this was just a bad day for you and you didn’t do well, then your other scores will prove that you’re good at math. However, if you don’t do well on other standardized tests, there will be reason to believe that your grades in school are inflated.
