Doing ED Cornell, apply RD to GWU?

<p>Im applying Early Decision to Cornell University…and i have a list of RD schools in case i dont get in, comprising of:
Brandeis University
Johns Hopkins
University of Rochester
Boston University</p>

<p>I want to major in ‘health, society, and policy’ a major that exists in Cornell, Rochester, JHU, and Brandeis (and Tufts). </p>

<p>Im looking at the following schools to add onto my list:
Tufts
Brown
NYU
George Washington
University of Maryland- Coll Park</p>

<p>Im a NY state resident, </p>

<p>Stats
3.9 GPA
SAT - 1980 —> M-660 V-620 W-700
SAT II- US History- 770 Biology-M-680
Ranked- 56/794 NYC public school --top 7%</p>

<p>Activities
2 internships at 2 medical laboratories
1 internship on a citywide mayoral campaign
directed a cancer fundraiser
president/founder of young democrats chapter at my school,
Chairman of NYC citywide model congress</p>

<p>Im a very passionate, motivated, goal-oriented, and driven person, and that is conveyed very well through an interview, my essays, and my recommendations. </p>

<p>Im a Russian immigrant living in a family of low socioeconomic level.</p>

<p>Which of the following schools should i add?
Brown
Tufts
NYU
<strong><em>GWU</em></strong>
University of Maryland-College Park</p>

<p>GWU’s extremely politically active which seems to be a benefit to someone with your EC’s. Tufts, Brown, (and even NYU) are a bit more academically challenging.</p>
