Doing interviews in different countries

Does it matter where you do your interview? My interviewer and I don’t have compatible schedules and probably won’t be able to meet before the deadline. However I am going on a trip next week and in that country, there is an interviewer who can hopefully schedule some time with me.

Since I am the definition of a borderline candidate, I really, really want an interview to nail it. However, would doing the interview in a totally different country be acceptable?

Since Harvard really consider interview, I think it’s OK. It’s better to have one than none. Why don’t you write the college?
