I am going to fail in life. I got a 2.6 gpa last trimester and this trimester i failed chemistry and i have 2 Ds. The chemistry was a mistake because my parents accidently enrolled me into a course for sophmores and i was a freshman and it was way to advanced. I got a D in spanish and I plan to retake it in summer school and i might get a D in english but im working hard to make it a C. Next trimester I want to study really hard and get straight As? Do I have a chance?
Yes, you should be choosing your classes. I assume you are a high school student right? Some colleges don’t look at Freshman year at all. Others weigh it less. So if you work hard, you will get into colleges that are good matches for your ability level, interests and achievement level when you are a senior.
