Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice

Dionne and Star are egomaniacs. I was astonished they wanted their names on the cover of the book. It’s not as if this were real life and they got royalties! Dionne strikes me as an idiot. Star is smart but does not engender loyalty. Busey is going to be a kick next week.

Lisa made so many mistakes, including bringing Star and Dionne, who she already knew were aligned against her, into the boardroom. She should have brought Marlee and Dionne, as Marlee already was vocal against Dionne. Lisa came across as pretty dumb last night and deserved to go.

Lisa probably deserved to go. I liked how the guys really worked together, but I thought the girls were so mean to each other. Particularly Star and Dionne. Dionne was really mean to Marley.

I think Dionne isnt bright enough, so she compensates with her meaness just to hide her stupidness.

MilkandSugar-You are 100% right, or as Dionne might say, “200% right!”

The first week, I knew David Cassidy was going. He just didn’t stand up for himself in an assertive enough fashion and when he finally started to, he ended every statement by looking to Jose Canseco for confirmation. By the way, I had never seen Jose before, what a cutie pie he is and I really admired how he stuck up for David when he didn’t have to.

I thought Lisa signed her pink slip in the beginning of the boardroom when she said she hadn’t wanted to be Project Manager in the first place, that she felt she wasn’t ready. That struck me as the exact wrong thing to say to The Donald. Dionne is a moron - I’m really ready for her to go back to the Psycho Friends Network with her new “friend” Star.

I do hope Meat Loaf continues to advance - I have always liked him. As for the women, I really did find the attacks on Lisa to be very racist in nature, that she was ganged up on. I still think she deserved to be fired but I felt the group was very offensive.

There will come a time when Star will turn on Dionne and NeNe will get them both.

I wish Dionne would just move on. I can’t wait for the Star and Nene showdown. Who are you putting your money on between those two milkandsugar?

@Joan52: how were the attacks on Lisa “racist” in nature?

I agree with a previous poster who said that Dionne and NeNe are way in over their heads, especially NeNe. The two of them will make for awesome, catty hijinks but that’s about it. NeNe was nothing but a big bully on Housewives but I think she’ll slow that roll on Apprentice. I don’t think she’ll want to mess with Star too much.

The decision was right. I am perplexed why Lisa would assign the book to Star. Why not use some of the other team members? If you are the leader, you need to delegate to people who have your back. There seems to be a lot of team members with no clear responsibility. I haven’t seen Hope do anything yet. I also think NeNe is doing fine relative to the other ladies.

@GA2012MOM, it will be a close call between NeNe and Star. I can see both of them getting “all ghetto” on each other. The only difference is Star is extremely intelligent. She was a successful assistant DA in Brooklyn and she has run up against NeNe types and worse. She might be able to out verbage anyone. She knows how to work her charm with nastiness and snark and it has worked well for her. BTW, i am no Star fan.

Wow, Nikki Taylor, what an elegant classy lady. I hope the other ladies learned a valuable lesson from her.

I don’t much like the expression “all ghetto”, but I do love Star, NeNe, and Nikki Taylor. Omigosh NeNe is one of the funniest people. When she really gets started on a rampage (on RHOA), you could fall off of your chair laughing. She is to die for.

I thought Jose Canseco was the biggest disappointment last night, even though he was on the winning team. The schtick with Nene and Star and their lack of camping knowledge was a riot and so were Gary Busey’s word translations. I have a friend who has been a musician in Las Vegas for fhe past 35 years and he says Dionne is basically the same person in her business life that’s depicted on Apprentice…

Classy, yes, but how boring if everyone rolled over like she did. Ds2 was furious that she didn’t fight harder for her charity.

I boycotted the first week but am liking the way it’s going now. Star is so funny – her sarcasm about the fabulous Camping World song was hilarious.

Marlee is becoming my favorite player…she gets it, it is for charity and I wish Nikki had more of a backbone and would have shown a little bit more woman power. I can not stand Dionne or Starr, both have huge egos and Starr is a sabatore for other project managers.

As for the boys, I like Big Rich (NOT RICHARD HATCH-ha!), and poor Gary Busey (he’s endearing to me for some reason, yet clueless @ times as well), and poor Meatloaf, I can’t help but like him as. Richard Hatch and Jose Conseco can’t leave soon enough for me.

Two hours is toooooo long for this show each week…kinda boring, so I read as I watch…

Way too many comercials!

Way too many comercials!

Solution: DVR

Except, I love the Staples commercial where the couple gets robbed but thief doesn’t take the old, clunky computer/monitor.

I’m hoping for Marlee or Meatloaf. He has been a delicious surprise.

I like Meat Loaf, too. I can’t help but fondly remember the numerous times we saw Rocky Horror Picture Show and Meat Loaf, as Eddie, ride in on that motorcycle and break in to ‘Hot Patootie’ (Whatever Happened to Saturday Night). I’m listening to it on my iTouch right now! DH’s fraternity hosted a Rocky Horror Party, and he and I dressed up as Dr. Scott and Columbia. Fun times!
