<p>Finally submitted it at 2:35 to 7 different schools. FINALLY!! haha!! I’m done with that sucker!!!</p>
<p>Now I just hafta write about 2 new essays by the end of today… lol</p>
<p>I just finished too and I’m pretty happy–i’ve been staring at my screen for hours trying to get all the indentations and everything lined up on my essays. It’s so frustrating. God, I hated applying to colleges and now I’m finished!!! </p>

<p>Haha, I sent it in 12 am last night, er this morning, before I went to sleep. But gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I made a typo in my Common App essay. I wrote “rise about failure” instead of “rise above failure.” … I am a failure. T_T</p>

<p>Haha, everyone sounds so familiar. I’m struggling w/ the second Pton supp essay (actually it’s the first, something about Einstein’s quote), and my Amherst supp essay (the “universe” one) was a bunch of cliches strung together haphazardly. Honestly, I’m at a loss what Amherst really expects from their prompts. Chill, six hours more to go and we’re free!</p>

<p>Hah, I’m expecting a rejection too. Just applied in the first place b/c it waived the TOEFL. But never mind, people got in before with cliched/BS essays. Guess they’re just like us;)
My essay was ranting about the need of knowledge or something to that effect. You know, linking it with the universe and all that stuff. I don’t think it made sense. After all, I wrote it with eyes half shut with sleepiness. Don’t know what you think, but it’s the only prompt I could partially understand at all.</p>

<p>um, YOU were making me feel guilty by setting an example of your punctuality…or whatever. I just can’t understand how you can start the app so early. I just can’t find the inspiration for my essays without this deadline kicking me continually in the ***.</p>

<p>If you made a typo in your essay check out the “I 'll tell you what really sucks…” thread b/c I did the exact same thing, and it really does suck.</p>
<p>Our school REQUIRES us to be done by Nov 15th…cause they have to process 1000 apps. So yeah, we gotta do our part.</p>

<p>whew… i cleaned up an essay a bit and got my common app submitted for the 1/1 schools… though I can’t say I feel much relief because I’ll be up all night redoing my essay for the 1/2 schools…</p>
