[Squeezing breasts ‘can stop cancer’](http://news.uk.msn.com/health/squeezing-breasts-can-stop-cancer)

Can’t wait for my massage tomorrow.
;)

( & yes, I am kidding, cause I know most therapeutic massage doesn’t include the breasts & in any case I am getting a Shiatsu treatment which is more like acupressure.- but I can’t wait anyway)

I feel like some of us will have to be wary about sharing this finding with spouses for fear of never being able to get anything done unimpeded.

“I just don’t want you to get breast cancer!” ;)

Yea, I heard that line from H just the other day! Guess it must have been on the radio.

Much discussion around the breakfast table about this morning, something about street corner, free-lance breast cancer treatment and whether one could bill Medicare ;)

It’s always nice when people get into the spirit of the season and are willing to lend a hand. ;)

A new cottage industry?

Sounds kinda painful…

As a bodywork advocate, I know that there are lots of benefits to massage that go far beyond the immediate relaxing effects.

My shiatsu massage was great, Im going to try & go at least twice a month.Ive got a lot of stuff to work on.

My S is at UC Berkeley where the research was conducted. No wonder he likes some of his assignments so well!:)

So a mammogram would be both diagnostic and therapeutic ? I’ll remember that next time the technician steps on that little pedal…

It’s like the scene in Woody Allen’s Bananas where the guerillas are all sitting around answering the question what do you when someone has a snakebite. They all say “Suck out the poison” except for Woody who stammers he could never do that, it’s unsanitary, etc. Cut to shot of woman running into the camp holding her very large breast and yelling, “I’ve been bitten by a snake”, followed by an aerial shot of the men converging on her.

I read the quoted text in the original post to H, who replied, “Honk…Honk…” lol

NOW you tell me! (mastectomy 11/29/12) :)

a few male friends have posted the link on their FB pages…of course mostly male friends have commented.

Bless your comedic heart, Threekids!

Hope you’re recovering well Threekids!

I’m doing really well, thank you! My biggest problem is how to hide the unevenness as I go from here to reconstruction in 3-5 easy months! First the mastectomy side is flat, then it will be expanded to bigger than the non-mastectomy side. Eventually I’ll be even and back to normal. This should be my biggest problem in life!
