I will be attending Austin College in the fall and I’m super happy with my choice. It took me a long time to choose a college because I got too hung up on the prestige that goes with the school name instead of focusing on where was the right fit for me.
I picked Austin College over more presigious schools because it had the small community I wanted, it’s close to home so I can still se my family, it was significantly less expensive than other schools, and its really good for my major.
I just wanted to share why I made the choice to go with a lower-prestige school and encourage y’all to consider everything you want in a college experience before picking a school.
