I am a nursing major at UMass, looking to transfer to Northeastern for the fall semester. I only have one problem-I have yet to take Anatomy and Physiology II.
UMass, like Northeastern, has a strict sequence of classes-we take A and P 1 in the spring of freshman year, and A and P II in fall of sophomore year. It is not offered at any other time. If I don’t transfer for next fall, I’m going to fall even farther behind.
What should I do?
So Northeastern offers both A&P I and II in freshman year???
Yes, they do; I ended up emailing the transfer admissions counselor explaining the decision and asking if there was any way I could take the course at Northeastern or another institution over the summer. I’ll update when I get a response
Seems like a way for UMass Amherst to limit the ability of fresman nursing students to transfer.
I’m not quite sure about that-many different schools offer the required nursing courses at different times. For example, at another one of the schools I am applying to, they have not taken A and P I
