I know it won’t like secure a 5 or anything, but how much do you think doing the practice tests help. More specifically, how much does it help to look at the answer explanations, even if you don’t get the question in the first place.

Like Physics…I can’t do a lot of the problems, but as I look at the explanations, I seem to get it. I plan on doing this for all the REA US Exams (5+ Exams, right?), and hopefully all the tests I can with explanations. Helpful to do if you’re running low on studying time?

If you’re running low on time, try studying where the majority of questions in AP exam will come from.
For example, for APUSH, the exam asks 45% of the questions from 1790 to 1914 so I’d concentrate.

But for like Physics, which I’m not too good at, all I really know are the equations. So would going through 3 practice tests, and not really knowing anything on them, but then looking at the explanations prep me in turn for the real AP.

Hmm… that’s kind of the situation with me for AP chem. When I’m practicing my Chem… I try doing the question and then reading the explanation… but after reading the explanation, wait a day and then re-do the problem because just reading the explanation can give you a false sense of being prepped. If you can do the question quickly the next day without looking at the explanation, that means you truly understand the problem.
