<p>Can anyone tell me anything about Preston on the North Quad?</p>
<p>I don’t know anything about it specifically – I’ll ask my son when he gets home from work. Here are a couple of photos of it:</p>

<p>My impression of the North Quad is that kids LOVE the intimate atmosphere in those smaller (former frat) houses. They get to make very close friends. The north quad is close to the academic quad too - although you have a little walk to the cafeterias.</p>
<p>The north quad was my son’s first choice for housing but he did not get it. Mostly ED kids got it. (Apparently they have discontinued the process by which kids could rank their choices.) He was happy where he ended up though.</p>
<p>I think you (or your daughter?) will like it a lot!</p>
<p>I’m not familiar with it, but it looks very nice from the pictures! Literally a “home away from home”.
My DD got East Hall, which is what she was hoping for. That’s where she stayed when she visited and she said its full of primarily athletes, including almost all of the first-year swimmers.</p>
