<p>do the dorms have AC? do they really get unbearably hot during the summer months? heat is one thing that i can’t stand and i dont know if i can study in hot, dry weather.</p>
<p>no the high rises don’t have AC, but the suites and plazas do. How hot it gets also depends on which side of the floor you live on. If you’re on the south-facing side of Dykstra, prepare for some heat when the sun is out. Other than that, it really doesn’t get very hot in the rooms.

<p>no, i plan to come back home. but i also wanted to keep a fish tank and if the tank gets up to the mid 80s it is bad.</p>
<p>summer is the hottest. go to orientation and see if you can stand the heat. seriously, i dont think it’s a problem that the dorms don’t have AC. a fan is sufficient if needed. many people in my residence hall keep fish. </p>
<p>the one problem i DO have is that they turn the heater TOO HOT during the WINTER!!!</p>
