<p>So we’re shopping for a dorm refrigerator for my son, who will be moving into the Quad soon. He says he saw some paperwork from Auburn that says the refrigerator can be no larger than 4.3 cu ft. It seems that all the small refrigerators in town are either 3.2 cu ft or 4.5 cu ft. Do they really enforce the size limit??</p>
<p>Nope, the size limits are not enforced at all. My roommate and I both had 4.5 cu ft. refrigerators last year and will this year as well.</p>
<p>If it helps at all, I did see a 3.3 cubic ft. Frigidaire mini fridge at Lowes this morning.</p>
<p>No, they don’t. We had a pretty large one in our dorm, and no one said a thing. As long as it wasn’t foaming with mold or anything, no complaints.</p>
