<p>Dorms have 8-10 people usually and Apartments have 4-5. Dorms/Res Halls are usually for first years whereas apartments are for 2nd/3rd/even 4th years. Apartments have a kitchen whereas dorms don’t (which is why you start with fewer dining dollars when living in apartments).</p>
