<p>DD is a third year UChicago Student. She is thinking of moving out of the Dorm and into a rental. Basically, rental costs around 600/mo/person on a yearly basis without the food and everything else(she is getting an unfurnished apt.). The dorm is around 12000/year including the food, exclude the summer. </p>
<p>We figure it will be about $1000/mo either way, not counting the summer. Since DD is going to stay and intern in Chicago for the summer, so rental has a little advantage over the Dorm. But is it worth the hassle to move out? Also, she is moving in to the rental with two other students, that will add complications and we may have to sign the lease.</p>
