I feel badly that you had to pull out and uproot your “life” out of that room, but it is done.
It’s on her now and she has to deal with housing and all of the other crap. They will probably make her parents pay for a single rate.

Edited to add: Contrary to popular belief, the housing office does not have to provide housing to people that don’t follow the rules.
