dorms and refrigerators.....

All right this may be kinda stupid for me to ask, but how does one tell what the watts are for a compact refrigerator? I’m looking them up online and i have yet to find a place where it says it. The max i’m allowed to have is a 600 watt. Help?

look up ratings of energy saving fridges- if you already have one, there should be a sticker that says watts drawn.

The usage of a 20 cu. ft. refrigerator & freezer auto defrost is only ~ 520 watts.

A dorm fridge of 4.5 cu. ft. won’t be an issue. You’ll have more than enough watts left over to blast the stereo.

Or if you know the amps, multiply by 120 = watts.
