Dorms for Upperclassmen

What are the largest and smallest, and how are they location-wise? Which ones are closest to the library, dining halls, and off-campus hang-outs? thanks in advance…

They are all fine location-wise. Village A is close to the library and dining hall. the Southwest Quad is close to Leo’s and the back door of the ICC (pretty far from anything off campus). LXR is very close to Wisey’s and Walsh. Copley is pretty smack dab in the middle of campus, and Henle is pretty close to the Leavey Center/campus grocery store, and Alumni Square is just right outside the gates.

As far as sizes, look at the housing web site.

thanks manderz! any more input/personal experiences?

The University-owned apartment complexes (Village A, Alumni Square, Nevils, and Henle Village) are all fairly similar. There are some HUGE Nevils, Henle, Village A, and Alumni Square apartments which usually go first during housing selection and then there are some VERY SMALL apartments that are sometimes even left over for sophomores and transfers. Everything else is somewhere in between and pretty similar. Village A is famous for the rooftop catwalks which are host to many parties in the warmer months. Village A apartments are also getting renovated this summer. Off-campus townhouses vary from absolutely GINORMOUS to pretty darn small considering how many people live in them (5-6).
