Dorms

When you are a cheerleader in college, do you get different athletic privileges like different dorms, or does it increase your social standings?

No.

Whether you are an athlete or not, you’re placed in the same dorms as your non-athletic peers. There’s no such thing as dorms that are entirely for athletes.

No, why would there be?

Lol the nerds here are so hostile towards those with athletic ability.

Actually, athletes usually dorm together, near the athletics department where all the fields or courts are, depending on the court. It’s not really official but yeah.

As for social standings, no. No one in college will care that you’re a cheerleader.

Some colleges force cheerleaders into certain dorms and some don’t.
Being a cheerleader or being something else increases or decreases your social standing differently in different people looking at you. It’s the other person, not you, who makes the judgement. If someone likes you better or less because of what you do, they aren’t a very good person, are they?

At some schools they let athletes have prority registration for classes to make sure they don’t conflict with practice, hopefully they’ll do it at your school (and mine) for cheerleaders!

“Lol the nerds here are so hostile towards those with athletic ability.”

half of the athletes at my school ride their stupid scooters everywhere. some “athletic ability” my ass.

soprano, that’s not necessarily true. My cousin is a Div I athlete and they’re placed with other athletes.

With that said, it depends on your school. Simple as that.
