Double degree

Can you receive a double degree in Business admin and international business?

Sure you can, if the school offers it. Look at Penn’s Huntsman degree. Although it’s not exactly what you’re describing, it’s similar.

Penn Huntsman is a very specialized, very competitive program. In most cases you can major in something like International Business for your Bus Admin degree. Additionally you could double major in two different business disciplines, (e.g., finance and international business), at most business schools.

Random: San Diego State University does NOT allow double majoring and/or minoring in two business programs.

Some programs will not let you double major in business concentrations. However, “business administration” is hardly concentrated and is used to describe a business degree. For example, you would probably receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business. Why you want to major in international business is a much better question. It’s quite frankly a useless degree that colleges offer to attract students with good stats but terrible touch with reality who they anticipate will change their major to something that employers actually want to hire by the time they graduate and realize that their parents’ money can’t support them forever and understand that no business is going to pay you to vacation around the world.

I tend to agree with OpenedSkittles. I have a friend who majored in International Business and got a job at a hedge fund firm out of school. However, He got the job because the kind of person he was, not his degree. He got lucky.
