I just had a chat with them today and most of what they said is similar to what’s being said here. It’s a very difficult field to get into, you’re going to need some good high level math skills, apparently it helps if your good at poker, reccomended that I learn some more advanced python beyond what I already know, and that since I was fortunate enough to get into a school like berkeley, if I follow through and do well there’s a internship they could line up in the future.
Suprisingly they said it wouldn’t be to much of a issue if I kept doing aerospace since It’s still a lot of math and problem solving skills being learned and if anything they said maybe do a minor in math, physics, or CS if I want to make myself a more attractive prospect.
