Hello all,
I am currently accepted into Suffolk University, Government major. I want to transfer to another college after 1/2 years so I want to challenge myself and show some effort. I also really wanna study Journalism besides Goverment too. But my main purpose is having a high GPA first of all. Would it be hard if I choose to double major?

It depends on how do you want to fit everything in schedule. With double major, you will have more required credits for both major. Very often, it will take longer time to graduate or you may need to take more credits per semester.
It depends on many factors such as where you stand regarding the general ed requirements of school you are transferring to, requirements in major of school you are transferring to, how many of the credits the new school will take etc. I’d suggest that after you are accepted to a college you’d consider transferring to that you try to make an appointment to talk to an academic adviser at the school so you can chart out a plan.
