Double major in culinary and hospitality management

Does doing a double major in culinary and hospitality management at the university of Akron sound like a good plan and
will the school charge me extra .

I don’t know the schools policy specifically. But normally a school charges full-time tuition cost for a “normal” amount of units. Lets say 12-18 for this example. Anything below is part time, and charged per unit, and anything above is over-time, and every unit above 18 gets an additional charge.

Sometimes, if you don’t structure it properly, a double major can add time to your degree. For example, you might need an extra semester to finish all of the graduation requirements.
