I want to double major in Economics and Political Science, and I want to study abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science for 1 year, which means that I pretty much won’t have time to take ANY upper level science classes. Will this hurt me in the application process? If it doesn’t hurt me in the application process, and I somehow make into medical school, will I be behind my classmates in med school courses?

Anyone have any personal experience with not taking ANY upper level science classes? If so, GIVE ME ADVICE/INPUT.

You should take at least two upper level biology courses. It’s not a lot.

^^^BDM, which ones do you recommend?

Thanks for the help dude.

Depends on your school. Ask around. If you were a Duke student, I’d tell you 151, 103, and maybe 227. But that doesn’t mean anything to you.

^^^ Sorry, I meant like biochemistry, microbiology, anatomy,? General course names could help put me on the right track.

Like I said, your goal is to ask around at your own school for tips. It varies too much from undergrad to undergrad to get advice from the Internet.
