<p>I’m an international student who is thinking of pursuing double major in education and business at UIUC or UW Madison. </p>
<p>I’ve told that it’s common for students to stay one more year or so to complete all the requirements. Would it be true for my case too because the requirements won’t overlap that much? </p>
<p>Also, I was wondering what the diploma will look like.
Would it say "Education-Business? or would there be two separate diplomas for each major?</p>

<p>You might want to reconsider this double major, because the typical jobs for people with each degree don’t overlap very much and you’ll only use one or the other. It probably will take an extra year to complete both and it really won’t be worth your time and money to stay that extra year.</p>
<p>If I were you, I would go to UIUC because they have a top 3 accounting program.</p>

<p>I was thinking of double major because I want to major in education but then I’m not quite sure if I want to pursue a career in education after I graduate…
so I thought of double majoring as a plan B.</p>
