<p>I was wondering if anyone can comment on UCD’s double major policy. I understand that I must remain under the unit cap while meeting the requirements for each major, but I do not consider these to be main problems. </p>
<p>I am interested in double majoring in Biotechnology and Genetics, but fear the significant coursework overlap may restrict my ability to double major in these subjects. I’ve seen restrictions on double-majoring in engineering majors because of coursework overlap and was wondering if this applied to the sciences as well. I couldn’t find any such restrictions on each of the department’s respective websites. </p>
