Hello I was just admitted to the college of arts and sciences. I am quite content as I was also given a $15,000 scholarship. I would really like to double major with finance. Is this possible? Do they allow students to get majors from more than one of their schools?

Yes. Just note, that you are allotted only a certain amount of credits per semester. Depending on your major, and the number of credits the major requires, you may need to pay more. I would check the requirements, and consult your advisor once you have enrolled.

The finance major just started this year. Check the business school website for more information about the classes you would need to take for the finance major and see if you can fit it in with your current schedule. But lots of people who are not in the business school are able to double major in finance. I know someone who is doing computer science and finance as well as someone who is doing economics and finance. It’s very possible to double major.
