double majoring (crop science and statistics)

i was accepted to uiuc as a crop science student. how do i go about double majoring in statistics? will i graduate on time? thank you!!!

Chances of being able to complete a double major in crop sciences and statistics in four years are extremely low. Crop sciences is in the College of Agricultural Sciences while statistics is in Liberal Arts & Sciences. To get a second major in a different college at UIUC requires that you pursue a double degree program, one from each college. Besides having to complete the course requirements of both majors and colleges, you must complete at least 30 hours over and above the total hours needed for your first major; for applicable procedures and rules see http://www.las.illinois.edu/prospective/second/ Crop Sciences needs 126 semester hours to graduate and thus to also do a statisdtics major requires at least 156 hours total, meaning you would have to average just under 20 hours a semester to do it and the usual load for college students is 15 to 17 hours a semester.
