Double majoring in Classics and Engineering

If I applied to the School of Engineering, can I take classes in classical studies when I go in this fall semester if I have a lot of the first year courses out of the way from AP credit? I tried searching around for the past few hours and I’m so confused.
I have to apply to the Liberal Arts College as well if I want to double major, correct?
Furthermore, if anybody has an opinion on the practicality of majoring in these two fields, I’d appreciate hearing it :)

Sorry if I sound completely ignorant or something (because I kinda am): I really have no idea how double majoring or anything like that works… I’m so out of the loop.

To apply as a major in liberal arts should be easy. You can probably go to GEB 2.200 and do this. Just tell them that you want to add the major.

Doubling in engineering can be tough, but if you’ve got enough credits out of the way it’s doable. If there are any prereqs for the classics course, you may not be able to apply. Otherwise, you should be able to register for the classes without any problems.
