Double majoring in two different colleges?

I’m interested in double-majoring in biology & psychology, no matter what school I attend. However, is this even possible at CMU? If so, which college do I apply to, and how can I get permission to have a major in the other college?

Haha, that is a really popular double major at CMU…

Yep, it’s very possible. In fact, there is a “Unified Double Major in Psychology and Biological Sciences”. Go here: <a href=“2023-2024 Undergraduate Catalog < Carnegie Mellon University”>2023-2024 Undergraduate Catalog < Carnegie Mellon University; and click on psychology (under H&SS) and the info for graduation requirements is on the second page. Since the information is on the psychology page, I guess you apply to H&SS, but I would suggest doing a little more research before you assume that.

Thank you very much! I feel much better now about applying. It looks like I could theoretically apply to either school and still be able to have that double major.
