Double Wall Oven—Help me save Thanksgiving!

GE doesn’t stand by its appliances. We had a GE range that had a major part fail after less than 6 years. The part was expensive and out of stock, and after 6 weeks with no fix in sight, they offered us a deal on a range that turned out to be not nearly as good. Shouldn’t be a worry for you if you won’t be there long, but geez.

Different brands do things well or poorly for different appliances. Washer/dryer top performers are not always the same for kitchen appliances- and in the kitchen it varies. I went with a mix of brands when replacing various appliances in current home. The inherited GE electric range still works very well. Will have to research to see what’s out there in the future. Can’t keep brand loyalty from past decades.

OP, I hope you’ve bought a new oven by now and that it’s going to be installed in the next day or so.
