<p>I’m a first-year undergraduate attending the University of Florida. My brother is a third-year undergraduate student. We both are still considered dependents under the same household, thus requiring the same financial need. We both have our FASFA filled out and everything else. However, he received the Douglas-Turner grant, which is a need based financial aid award that you don’t have to apply for, yet I did not receive it. Considering it’s a need based grant, should this happen or should I straighten this out with my financial aid adviser?</p>
