She’s happy.

Go take a long walk outside and tell yourself, “I’m a good parent, I’m a good parent” and then get an ice cream cone for lunch.

Life is good. Life is good. Life is good.

Actually, I guess I should say: As of 10:30 last night, as of the 45 minutes we talked, she was happy. I am trying to remember to have no expectations, but it was so good to hear her chatty, gossipy, happy voice.

Yay, Heron. I am so happy for your D and you.

Was it after she had her chat with her BF?

:) …

My post should have come after Heron’s last email. CC behaves strangely sometimes.

Yes!

:) .

Yeah! I’m happy for all of you.

Great news. Now relax and enjoy being the mom of a college student. This is really an exciting time for parents, we get to watch our kids blaze their own paths and flourish.

Wonderful…hope you will hold fast as the ups-and-downs smooth out.

Here’s hoping that the happiness gains momentum!!

wonderful!!

That’s great! Of course, she will have some not-so-happy moments and days in the future, but that’s OK because that’s life, no matter where she is.

I hope she is feeling really good about herself for having the strength and courage to do something that was difficult for her – and I hope you are feeling good about yourself for the same reasons.

That is great news. Deep beath, baby steps, she is making the change.

I am SO glad. Great job, mom.
