I know there are many Downton fans on CC. I just noticed that Downton Abbey: The Exhibition is opening in New York City next week. (I don’t know if I can link, just google the subject line). I saw the exhibition last spring in Singapore, it’s a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. Very nicely done - special effects, sets from the show, background, costumes, etc. This is not the same as the traveling costume display shows that visited various US cities in the past year or so. This exhibit is much more extensive and high tech. I probably spent two hours going through the show. Lots of other fans there as well, everyone having a great time and enjoying! I didn’t see anyone rushing through or bored.
I believe the hope is that other cities will also host the exhibition, but I don’t know of any finalized plans for other stops.
