I am a junior in high school and have a 3.0 weighted gpa with a 24 act score. What are my chances of getting into the university of Kentucky?

well you fall in the middle range for ACT, but lower 25 percent for GPA. What classes did you take? Extracurricular? Essay/Recs?

Apply ED it will help alot

I took all main stream level course except senior year i will be taking two ap classes. My school is very competitve. I have many extracurriculars as well. I am vice president of the volunteer group at my school. Been involved in it since freshman year. I was in student council for two years and in spanish club all three years. Apply ED?

Well applying Ed/ea, early action or early decision, will help a lot, because when you apply Ed, you turn in your application early, but you are competing against a smaller pool of applicants. You will improve your chances of getting accepted. If not accepted, you will be deferred to the normal application. However, when you are deferred, you can send more stuff to boost your chances. The only catch is if you apply Ed, and get accepted, you must go to that school, which means you can only apply Ed to one school. Most colleges try to fill up 30 percent of their pop. with Ed kids. Depending on the number of kids applying Ed and the space they have, a lot of kids will be able to boost their chances

Thats good to know thanks! But without applying ed do i have a chance?
