I wouldn’t wear hose with anything except pumps, no Slingbacks. Can you find a pair of pumps instead of those you have? If so, then I’d do the sheerest color to your own legs.

I’m on the fence about hose with those shoes. Leaning forward no hose but Wolford ($$$) and Pretty Polly ($$) make some that might work. I’d buy a pair and keep in the purse to put on just in case it gets super cold.
Is the concern about hose snagging on the strap?
I honestly hate hose and like the idea of throwing a pair in my purse and seeing how I do without them. I could use my pashmina over my legs during the ceremony

Both look OK for the occasion! The second dress fabric looks a bit stiff so it could make it look like a doll dress.
Nordstrom carries Dress the Population brand that has a lot of dresses that would fit the bill.

Maybe try sheer black/grey hose? Definitely I’d be wanting hose, especially on the gondola ride back down the mountain. It’s nice those heels are chunky, but I’d still be careful on the gondola grating - it’s often designed to de-ice clunky ski boots.

Maybe I’ll pack my flats just in case. I can scope out the gondola the day before the wedding and do a trial run up to the top too!

No, the problem I have is that sandals are not meant to be worn with hosiery. To have any of your actual foot showing the stocking itself looks very odd.
If I knew I were going to be chilly and outdoors, I’d wear nude hose and full closed pumps.

If you’re a size 6 here is one on EBay for $280 (you could offer less) but that is still (in my pocketbook) a lot of $$.

If you like the Mac Duggal V-Neck Dress, one of the Nordstrom ones you say you cannot open, has a similar look and is on sale for $79. If this link still does not work, then go to Nordstrom and look up Alex Evenings Embroidered Mesh A-Line Cocktail Dress. The link works for me though.

I went shopping yesterday at Dillards and was shocked at the prices. The first pair of shoes I looked at was $250. I bought two shirts that were 30% off, John Mark and Westbound, and still ended up spending $160. Is anyone else noticing this? Is it the tariffs?

lol I found a Dillards card with $35 credit on it - I never shop there except when I was looking for a MOB dress. So you’re telling me I MAYBE can buy two pairs of socks with my $35?!
