@surfcity, I like them depending on where there they hit your legs and the type of shoe. I like this look better if the crop is longer and the sandal is higher, gladiator type or a sandal with ankle strap. That’s just my preference.
@surfcity I like the style. I probably wouldn’t wear them in that color but that’s personal preference. I would wear them as the model or with a flat sandal. I don’t like any heeled shoe with denim but again that’s personal preference.
@conmama cute dress. I know from a couple of friends who due to fire and flood had to buy new clothing and they said it was fun for about one minute.
Okay the tags are cut and I wore the cropped pants today! I actually bought them in the white color, not sure why the link showed the peach. I think the key is what top. With a wide bottom silhouette, I work a simple T shirt top (tucked in @conmama! It definitely needed to be) with a patterned belt and sandals. I loved it - it was comfortable and just the tone for lunch out with friends. And I know Labor Day is Monday but I will be wearing white denim after that if it is still warm (I think that rule is so arbitrary). Thanks for the input.
Sounds darling @surfcity , glad you enjoyed them. I agree about the tucked in shirt.
I am envious of those who can wear white jeans and keep them clean. I have a developed a terrible habit of wiping my hands on the thighs of my jeans. Born in a barn! I can’t have nice things!
Like the white ones even better!
I ordered these… they are en route to my house. If they fit, I intend to wear them until it gets too rainy and cold. Should look good with a fitted tee.

Very cute BB.
Cute pants BB. What shoes will you wear? Flats or heels?
Flats all the way! Or my favorite cork wedge sandals. Louboutin… acquired at the Rack for $120 about 10 years ago. ? They still bring joy to my feet. These:
At the beginning of the summer I bought a white pair of wide leg crops. They are very comfortable and I’ve worn them more than I thought. I usually have worn a nude or brown flat sandal with them. I have a nude wedge which would look good but I’ve opted for the flats.
I have a light blue denim pair also which haven’t got as much wear. I’m hoping to wear them more this fall. They are super high waisted which is not as comfortable as the white ones where they fall just below my belly button.
Those are cute, @BunsenBurner . They remind me of these. I tried them on but I need a tall, and they were out.
I bought a pair of AG brand ex boyfriend cropped white jeans this past spring. I’ve been wearing them a lot lately as the sun is finally shining on the central coast of Ca. I will wear them past Labor Day as I feel like summer is finally here. I do okay with multiple wears of white pants depending on where I dine. If it’s something messy I only get one wear before needing to wash them. I like to buy white denim a size up from what I wear in regular denim.
All the talk of wide leg pants reminded me I have an old pair of wide legged cropped pants in my closet. They are almost a culotte and fall just below my knee. I’m going to pull them out. I remember loving them but my H never liked them. I would wear a wide leg with a fitted top.
@conmama I’m not a fan of ankle zippers
Need some ‘accessory counseling’ for an upcoming wedding. I’m wearing a bright blue sleeveless sheath dress (jewel neckline) with a bit of rouging at the waist and a flat bow on the shoulder. The bow is adorned with rhinestones. (The tie piece in the middle of the bow has the ‘diamonds’.) I’m not all that wild about the rhinestones but removing the bow will be complicated and it does give the dress some ‘zip’. My question relates to accessories…Necklace, earrings? I am always fearful of overdoing it. I think I’m going with sparkly pumps, so I will have plenty of sparkle. My thoughts are a simple earring be best (Although I don’t know what kind of ‘simple’ will work!) and maybe no necklace. What do you think??
Is the flat bow just on the one shoulder?
I would do a short, simple, drop earring (like a single stone) and a wide bracelet on the arm opposite the bow side (assuming the bow is only over one shoulder). You could also do just a stud - might depend on how you wear your hair, how long your hair is. I would not do a necklace.
No necklace. Simple earring.
Bracelet on opposite arm is a great idea! You already have a lot going on with the studded bow and sparkly shoes.
Another vote for no necklace and for keeping earrings simple.
^^I’m curious what others think about wearing pearls with the dress described above. Do rhinestones and pearls work together in this instance?
If you desired pearls, i would go with probably decent fakes or less expensive with rhinestones…earrings and bracelet no necklace. I would choose something like this but there are many options. https://www.bluenile.com/freshwater-white-topaz-drop-earrings-sterling-silver_45062?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1r7_u4-25AIVh56zCh3sHQ-nEAkYEyABEgIR_PD_BwE&click_id=85824273
I layer up bracelets so I would do pearls and a tennis bracelet or whatever I had that worked.
I agree with the others about no necklace and rhinestone bracelet on opposite arm of the bow. The size and style of the earrings would depend on the size of the bow and rhinestones.
If it’s a small bow, little rhinestones, then I th8 k you can go with bigger earrings, if the bow is a standout, then yes, small drop or studs.
Well, y’all helped me spend some money! Ordered these and am wearing them today to work (we’re in jeans week) with a nice white Lululemon t-shirt and a light weight blazer. https://www.madewell.com/slim-wide-leg-jeans-in-crownridge-wash-raw-hem-edition-AA584.html
They come about an inch or two above my ankle and are really cute. They are a hefty weight with just a little stretch. I love them.
