Drew Peterson's impending FIFTH wife - 23 years old - Sick

Hope she is writing a book.

…And not planning to take any baths…

"January 30, 2009 (WLS) – Drew Peterson’s plans for a fifth trip to the altar appears to have hit a roadblock following an ABC interview.

The former Bolingbrook cop apparently watched ABC’s Nightline (Click Here to see the story and video) Thursday night with Christina Raines, 23. Something he said on that program prompted a fight. She packed her bags --and left.

During the show, Peterson told Martin Bashir in the exclusive report that he likes the early romantic stages of each relationship, but eventually lost interest when “there was no excitement in the marriage anymore.”

“The women I was involved with would change or wouldn’t do anything to keep me happy as man. So the relationships broke down,” said Peterson.

“What do you mean?” asked Bashir.

“Oh, romantically. They would get tied up with the kids and so forth and there was no excitement in the marriage,” said Peterson. “I’m basically attracted to young, beautiful women with good personalities… That’s what I’m attracted to.”

Peterson blames the interview for starting a fight with Raines, who he said then accused him of lying and ended the engagement…"

Henry the Eighth is re-born?

Let’s hope this young woman has the sense to stay away from this monster…and any other potential love interests of his as well.
He is creepy beyond words

Let’s hope the young woman also gets the counseling that she obviously needs. She also had also moved her kids in with Peterson! She needs help developing good judgment about men, including whom she allows around her kids. She also needs to learn to rely on herself, not men.

Note this from the article:
“She has moved herself and her children back into an apartment she shared with an ex-boyfriend.”

Has anybody seen her since she ‘left’?

Hmmm…I read another article last night that mentions that Peterson said in the interview that after he tires of his wife, that he then fools around for excitement. I can see how that would bother this fiancee upon watching the interview. I also read that the fiancee’s father, who has been trying to get his D out of this relationship the entire time, gave the D an ultimatum… it was either Peterson or the father and that the father came to get his D out of that house. I think any woman who would get involved with Peterson given all that is known about him has to be nuts, let alone has very low self esteem.

I happened to catch a discussion about this on Dr. Phil. He had the girl’s father on, and boy, was it sad! He was distraught, but can’t do anything about it. They advised him to keep in close communication with her and her children, and give her a cell phone that she can always reach him on. It gave me the chills.

Our local news had footage of the truck in front of the house as someone was loading stuff, but I couldn’t pick out anyone, other than the girl’s father. And I thought it was abyssmal that she moved back in with the ex-boyfriend. But it has to be better than living with Peterson.

Should we start a pool predicting dates of when he gets engaged again? Valentine’s Day is coming up… maybe he’ll find someone by then.

Saw the father on TV last night…heartbreaking. He was beside himself but what can he do? She’s 23. Nothing.

Well, those two are going to keep some moving company in business. She is back with him again.

Sad. Another tragedy waiting to happen. I feel sorry for both of their kids…

doesn’t this recall the case of the “brides in the bathtub?”
here is a non-law school reference to the British criminal:

UPDATE:

At least he’s behind bars with a bail he probably cannot meet. Chicago news showed video of his girlfriend moving her stuff out of his house today. I can’t believe she’s been with him this whole time.

I find him repulsive on every level, but he appears to have some type of charisma to vulnerable, needy young women
I am glad he is behind bars

The fiancee’s parents must be so relieved!!

ick ick ick… we’re seeing all kinds of video of him being led by prison guards to the courthouse, and he’s just getting such satisfaction out of putting on a show for the reporters.

Great court system we have where a cretin like that can get custody of each murdered wife. Where are the grandparents?

They must finally have the goods on him. I’m so glad!
