I don’t really care about the cost. I more care about the city environment, the program etc

Well, cost is the major factor driving decisions. And environment is of zero interest if you can’t afford a school.
(Remember that as a freshman, you’re limited to 5.5K in loans).
In order to have a good “value” evaluation, you can’t subtract some elements.

Yes, I can afford the tuition, dorm rent and daily cost without loans.

I am trying to find some more informations of them besides the numbers I can find online. Like professors and staffs are more responsible and helpful in xx university, the traffic is less in xx city
