<p>How bad is it? Is it more prevalent in small LAC than Univeristies? Maybe there are less things to do on weekend because of the access to a urban center like Boston, NY or Philly. </p>

<p>Drinking is definitely prevalent at Mudd. However, if you don’t want to drink, no one will make you. There are plenty of people who spend their weekend evenings doing non-alcoholic activities, like cookie night, where people make and eat a bunch of cookies (I think), and if you have a car, there are several movie theaters within close range. And if you’re really determined and want some big-city adventures, LA is about 45~60 mins away (if there’s no traffic… which doesn’t really happen very often, so maybe more like 1.5~2 hrs). Other than that, I’m not really sure what there is to do around here in the evening, but people usually manage to make their own fun. It’s all up to you.</p>
