Driveway Security Gate

<p>I am in the market for a iron or aluminum security gate. We have an 18 ft wide driveway and plenty of space for a security gate, a 6 ft. tall Ornamental double swing gate would be prefered. I looked up the internet a gate is around $1000 and the gate opener is another $500ish (For a DIY Project). Called around gate professionals and the quotes are around $9,000-$12,000, a big difference.</p>

<p>Be sure you have security on the gate. Steel scrap is still pretty good. Aluminum not so. :)</p>

<p>I would have a professional install it and make sure you have all available safety features. I spent many years defending lawsuits involving automatic gate openers and tragic deaths/injuries.</p>
