<p>So I’m a frosh at UCSC and the first quarter will be over in a month! I’m currently majoring in Film & Digital Media. However, I feel like my school does not give me hands-on training for my major in the future. I want to become a film director/producer. I have tons of questions!:</p>
<p>Would it be a good idea to drop out or withdraw from UCSC? I really want to go to UCLA but did not get in. Also, I want to go to the LA Film School which offers you an associates degree (IF I drop out).</p>
<p>Can you use an associates degree toward your Bachelor’s Degree?</p>
<p>Would it be hard to get back into college if I drop out/ withdraw?</p>
<p>A lot of family and friends are telling me not to do it but, I feel like UCSC is not the place for me. Feels like I’m failing all my classes already and college barely started.</p>
