My english teacher told me most of her past students dropped out of their college for easier colleges, they couldn’t handle it? Is this very prevalent?
One student got accepted to Yale, however dropped out a week later because of difficulty? Uh?

I think that sort of thing is rare. Most people that gets accepted into top-notched schools are deemed capable by the school.

Yeah, I doubt they would accept you if you couldn’t handle it and it just shows they were lazy if they did that. I mean, if you were used to the workload and didn’t want to do it anymore…wouldn’t that just be lazy? As for the people that weren’t used to that kind of workload…I don’t know what to say about that.

its rare for that kind of thing to happen, cuz if people keep dropping out of Yale, etc, it makes the school look really bad so they take care and select the students they know will survive

how can you drop out after ONE week because of difficulty? That’s BS.

I would see after a couple of months maybe they felt college wasn’t for them…but a week? I don’t think you’d get a lot of work in a week.

Also, everything I’ve heard from (most of) my friends who now go to top colleges is that generally, college work tends to be easier than what they were doing in high school.
