Dropped out of college, how to succeed in next attempt

Hi,
from high school I was writing programs and websites so IT faculty was clear choice.
So last winter semester I was enrolled at freshmen year of major “Software engineering” of Faculty of Information Technology of Czech Technical University in Prague (one of hardest IT faculties here).
For most of year my grades from midterms,HW… were mostly good, but then although I studied during Christmas holiday, finals didn’t end well:
Classes: Grade Credits P/F Comment
Law and Informatics B 3 P
Digital and Analog Circuits A 5 P
Programming and Algorithmics 1 C 6 P
Programming in Shell 1 F 5 F needed 1.5 points more to pass
Elements of Calculus F 6 F bombed final

Mathematical Logic F 5 F failed second midterm don't allowed to final

Gained 14/30 credits, but for second semester minimum of 15 credits is required by university rules.

After consultation with Study Administration Office,I realized that there isn’t any way how to be allowed into second semester. so officially dropped studies by february 2015 and shortly after that I had to move out of dorms.

I realized that this faculty is beyond my capabilities. so I searched for other one ( easier this time).

I found at different faculty (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) of same university major “Software engineering and technology”. General opinion is that is easier than my last one major.
I’m accepted to that major based on A from math part of high school diploma.

How to start succeed in my next attempt? And not to repeat fail history?

Thanks Filip
