<p>I have been admitted to Indiana University and am also a kelley direct admit. Does anyone know if by dropping my AP Statistics course my admissions standing will be affected. Can they rescind my admission? Thanks.</p>

<p>I really doubt it would make a difference, but I don’t have any official knowledge on this. I know my son dropped a college level Anatomy course his senior year, and it had no effect. But he is also a music major, so that course was not one toward his major in any way.</p>
<p>Ok well I ended up calling the admissions office today. The counselor said that if I drop an academic course such as my AP Statistics course that I must replace that course with another academic course. I cannot just have a free period or something like that. It also apparently depends on the academic rigor of your other classes.</p>
