<p>This actually happened to me in Chem 1A when my lab partner dropped the class and vanished or something. I just talked with the GSI, did my research project with another pair of people I knew, and did the rest of my class labs in a group of three. So basically, it doesn’t affect your partner that much, but it is pretty annoying.</p>
